It’s been a while since I have even thought about the old Super Smash Brothers Melee for the Gamecube. Fortunately, someone just uploaded the intro video to YouTube. I’m a little burnt out on all the new SSB Wii videos, so this look into the past was refreshing.

EA has announced the soundtrack line up for the upcoming The Sims 2: FreeTime soundtrack. The list of US artists includes Natasha Bedingfield, They Might Be Giants, Great Northern and Fire Flies. International talent featured on the soundtrack are the bands Lexington Bridge from Germany, I’m From Barcelona from Sweden, Datarock from Norway and the artist Lara from Spain. All the performances, including Bedingfield’s “Pocketful of Sunshine,” are in the language of The Sims, Simlish.
“The Sims 2 FreeTime offers many ways for your Sims to express themselves creatively, including music,” said Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Music Marketing at EA. “This in-game soundtrack full of talented musicians from around the world, such as Natasha Bedingfield, is the perfect backdrop for your Sims to discover and develop their passions.”
“It was such a fun and delightful challenge to learn how to sing in Simlish,” Natasha Bedingfield added. “The language of The Sims captures a wonderful sense of beauty, creativity and humor, so my song ‘Pocketful of Sunshine’ translated well!”
I still can’t believe they get all these bands to sing in Simlish. There’s even a video out for Natasha Bedingfield’s “Pocketful of Sunshine.”

The Famitsu crew has really outdone themselves this time. They have just released some of the most incredible Street Fighter IV screens I have seen to date. Included in the release of new screens are several featuring the mysterious Crimson Viper. By morning, these images will be all over the internet, as they are certainly the best piece of gaming news I have seen all day.

The arcades may be close to death, but games like SF IV will definitely keep them alive for a little while longer. The arcade version of SF IV certainly looks great from what I have seen.

The guys over at AVN.com produced a new Guitar Hero video featuring porn star Regan Reese. Perhaps she should stick to porn acting, because her Guitar Hero skills are obviously lacking. “Lingerie Hero” is basically just a porn star trying to play Guitar Hero…not as exciting as the title may lead you to believe.
